Safer Deposits with 3D Secure

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure was designed and developed by MasterCard and Visa to increase security of online shopping by authenticating the cardholder’s identity.

How does it work?

3D Secure protects you against unauthorized use of your credit or debit card by verifying your identity via your Secure code each time you make an online transaction. This code is set up when you enable your Visa or MasterCard card for 3D Secure payments at your bank.

When making an online transaction, you will be asked to provide your Secure code after you enter your card details. The bank then automatically verifies the code to authenticate you and approve the transaction.

How do I register for 3D Secure payments?

If you would like to activate 3D Secure payments, you must contact your issuing bank to request it. Some banks will also allow you to do this at ATMs. The process involves providing personal data and creating a code that will then be used to confirm your identity when making an online transaction.

How do I deposit with 3D Secure?

Security of your funds has always been a top priority for GTCM and 3D secure payments will enable us to provide a stronger form of authentication to make your transactions even safer. You will be required to enter your 3D Secure code or password each time you make a deposit to your GTCM trading account.
